Our vacationers LOVE this home! From the main living area, large balcony, and master bedroom, one can see dramatic sunsets, exotic islands, and the waves crashing on as many as five beaches. These views will take your breath away! 4 x4 Vehicle Recommended. Traveling with a larger group? No problem! We manage 9 condos at Flamingo, more than any other property manager in the area, and are happy to help you.

This condo’s kitchen comes equipped with a breakfast bar, stovetop with oven, dishwasher, microwave, granite countertops, and all of the amenities you need to enjoy your vacation. The kitchen opens up beautifully into the dining area (seating five persons) and the main living area. Beautiful full-length sliding glass doors open to reveal the expansive balcony, complete with a 6-person dining table and gorgeous chaises and lounge chairs.

The master bedroom can also be accessed from the large balcony via sliding glass doors and features a king bed, a walk-in closet, fantastic views of the ocean, and a separate juliet balcony with pretty valley views. Enjoy breakfast in bed while viewing the Pacific Ocean and whale watching! The ensuite master bathroom has a tub and shower combo.

The second bedroom contains two twin beds that can be easily converted into a king bed (call ahead so that we can prepare the bed to your liking). The second bedroom also enjoys its own, private and fully furnished balcony with stellar ocean and green valley views. This corner condo gives ample privacy and has more balcony options than other condos in this unit.

No expense was spared in the decoration of this home. The home contains high-end furnishings and is professionally decorated in fantastic blues to accentuate the dramatic ocean views.

The home contains a laundry room with a full-sized washer and dryer.

The Flamingo Towers developments offers two large and beautiful pools, outdoor showers, landscaped gardens, 24-hour security with on-site guards, a covered parking garage with one parking space per unit, and two fully functioning elevators. The development is a quick three-minute drive to Flamingo Beach, where there is an abundance of beachside restaurants, snorkeling, stand-up paddle boarding, boogie boarding, kayaking, and fishing. This condo is also a short 5-minute drive to the popular grocery store Super Massai. Medical, dental, and pharmacy services are also located within a five-minute drive.

Membership to the Sailing Center is now included in your stay at this home! This membership includes a variety of discounts (50% off rental of equipment, boats, kayaks, and paddle boards, Happy Hour specials, and more!). The Costa Rica Sailing Center is a popular hub of activity for vacationers and locals alike.   I must say, my husband and I were sceptical when we rented this property. We looked at the pictures and thought to ourselves ‘there’s no way that this is the view we get for this price’. Well, turns out this is the actual view. Everything in this condo is PERFECT. 2 minutes drive to an almost private beach, howler monkeys every morning, beautiful sunsets. I didn’t want to go back home after. This condo also has everything you might need - beach chairs, cooler, beach towels, cookware, tupperwares etc. A great plus too is that the parking lot is covered which is amazing for keeping the car somewhat cool when the temperatures reach 40+. The pools were really clean too and not too busy. There’s a lot of great restaurants near by too. Krain team was very responsive to our messages. They would recommend restaurants, activities and they even let us do a late checkout. We truly enjoyed our stay.

  The condo was in a great location. I would definitely recommend having a 4x4 car. Steep and dirt road. The condo is well equipped and the views are magnificent. We had a bad odor when we arrived but put on a humidifier that was in the living room and it took care of the problem. Lots of good restaurants and several beaches within a short drive.   Our stay here was wonderful. The apartment was fully furnished with kitchen accessories as well as beach accessories. We really enjoyed having a boogie board, pool noodles, and beach towels to use! Internet TV allowed us to watch some shows in English in the evening while winding down. We greatly enjoyed the view from the beautiful. The last morning there a flock of parakeets put on a display for us, it was magical.

  My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the property. It was pouring rain the day we got in, so the first thing we noticed was the welcome convenience of covered parking in the tenant garage. From the moment we got in the door, it was readily apparent that we had picked the right place! It was very clean and the views were perfect. There was plenty of room and we also appreciated all of the extras like beach towels or soft coolers for the day, snacks after a long day of travel, and a complementary package of coffee for a first morning (not having had the chance to pick up coffee ourselves). We were close to plenty of great restaurants, beaches, and activities. There were even a few great breweries to check out for those who enjoy! Our host Tony was readily available to answer any questions or assist with any recommendations for information. A few previous reviews before our stay mentioned the road coming up and its true, a four-wheel-drive would definitely be better suited, BUT we witnessed plenty of cars & tour buses driving up. It’s an unpaved dirt road uphill which is mostly packed, though some of the uphill portions are affected by rainwater creating small crevices in the roads between the rocks which make it bumpy. Don’t worry let that stop you though—once you get to the top you’ll be glad you made the trek up!!

Comfortably updated and decorated, the place exceeded our expectations. We went kayaking, ATVing, ziplining, sailing, jungle exploring, jet skiing...and boy, did we eat! The food was wonderful everywhere we ate, except Margaritaville (don't go there). Our concierge, Tony, was so attentive, with suggestions for activities and a great source of information, without ever feeling like he was being pushy. He's a gem. I'm hoping we get the opportunity to return.

  This place was AWESOME! Seriously, the pictures are accurate! My family and I thought we had the life of rich people staying at this place because it is so beautiful. We also went right after Labor Day and there was hardly anyone there, so we got the pool to ourselves most of the time. The view from the porches is gorgeous. The condo has everything you would possibly need. Absolutely no complaints on this condo. You'll feel like you are in an episode of Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. If you want to go to the beach that has the island in some of the porch pictures, you just hang a right out of the condo and walk down the dirt road. You take another right onto a dirt road and have about a 1/4 - 1/2 mile walk to the beach. Also, do yourself a favor (if you have a car) to visit Playa Mina. It's a beach the locals told us about in the middle of nowhere and was gorgeous with great snorkeling. There is also Playa Penca (about 50 minute drive) which is close to Playa Hermosa and is where all the locals go. It was the prettiest beach we went to. Taking a drive to the Rincon de la Vieja volcano was about 2 hours from the condo, but worth it. We also visited the hot springs and mud baths there, though you pay $20 to do that as it is part of a hotel. Don't have any worries about this condo. You'll LOVE it!!!!

  Our rental was a dream after our wedding in Tamarindo. The building is very quiet and the pools provided a fantastic break from the sun with views. We met a few nice guests, also from Canada. A nice little community.
  
  The unit itself was WONDERFUL! Every amenity you need. Beautifully decorated, great kitchen, comfortable bed, AMAZING views, great beach supplies and a lovely welcome basket. All you need to do is pack your swimsuit as the unit has everything you need.

  We absolutely loved our stay here. The views were amazing from both bedrooms and the condo was immaculate. It is a short drive to everything.
  
  The one and only draw back is it is not really walking distance to a beach. Flamingo beach was about 1 mile up the peninsula. We tried a couple of different beaches in the area, but Falamingo was our favorite. The condo comes equipped with everything you need to enjoy a day at the beach. The pool were very nice, but we couldn’t resist the perfect temperature of the ocean water.
  
  The management company was also amazing! We booked several excursions through them. They even included transportation with pickup and drop-offs at the condo. It couldn’t have been easier.
  
  I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

  We loved this gorgeous condo and it was a great place for two couples to stay with your own bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was stocked very well. The furnishings and decorations are well done.
  
  We did have to drive down the steep hill, everywhere we had to go - beaches, grocery stores, and out to eat (that's why I gave it a 4 star for location.) We loved sitting on the deck with the beautiful view to relax, read, and eat most of our meals. We appreciated the extra camping chairs, umbrella, and boogie board that we could take to the beach. We left a couple more boogie boards there also. Some of the beaches were great for boogie boarding and body surfing, through the water was cooler than down south. The pool was nice, but also cooler, mostly for standing and talking.

  Don't know where to start. This unit is more beautiful in person, if that's even possible. The decor is first class, beds beyond comfortable, with high end linens. No detail missed in the stocking of kitchen utensils, plates, glasswear and cookwear. Several beach towels, beach chairs, and pool items. It was easy to keep the unit clean, as you had the desire to treat it like your own. Washing machine and dryer in unit made coming home with clean clothes a breeze. The several different balconies all provided indescribable views which made it so difficult to leave the unit. We cooked every meal but two during our stay because the condo was the best part of our entire vacation. My friends stayed in a different unit on one floor above ours, and they were so jealous of all the custom designer furnishings, accessories, and extra comforts in our unit. The balcony furniture was a delight to watch the sun rise from the back balcony, and sunset from the front. I honestly cannot say enough great things about this rental. I also want to touch on the personal attention from the staff at Krain, and communication in which they provided prior and during our stay. The airport pick up and return transfers went without a hitch, and Carolina personally have us a lift to the car rental agency in Flamingo, as well as accommodated our early check in request. We will definitely return to this beautiful slice of paradise, and a huge thank you to the owners of unit 19 and Krain Rentals for an outstanding experience.

  The biggest surprise and delight was the unparalleled service from Sebastian at Krain’s. He answered all questions in advance and was prepared for our arrival.   We had an incredible week staying at Corona del Mar in mid-September. The unit is exactly as described in the listing with tasteful decor that immediately makes you feel like you are at home on the beach. The view from the spacious balcony is absolutely incredible and is equipped with comfortable furniture. It was a perfect space for reading, sipping on cocktails, eating breakfast, and just relaxing and is where we spent the majority of our time at the condo.
  Sebastian at the Krain office was a great host. He responded quickly to all of our questions and set up many excursions that picked us up right from the parking lot. If there is something you want to do, he can make it happen! Remember to bring enough cash...some excursions only accepted cash or charged a small fee to use a credit card.
  The condo is at the top of a hill on a dirt road, so during the rainy season an AWD SUV is very helpful. It is located within a few short minutes of Flamingo and Portrero with easy access to the local market/grocery stores, restaurants, excursion companies, beaches, etc.
  
  Be sure to take advantage of the membership to the Costa Rica Sailing Center in Portrero. They have great rental rates on kayaks, snorkel gear, and paddle boards with a great bar and restaurant that includes live music at night. This was one of our favorite places!
  There were plenty of beach and pool towels, chairs, and a soft sided cooler to take with you for a day at the beach. There is a safe for your valuables and security on-site. We felt very safe and comfortable all week. There is a parking garage on site for your rental car as well.

  We loved staying in this condo! The Krain team, including Erick, Sebastian, and all of their associates made sure that our needs were met and that the condo was in excellent condition for our family trip. We're Flamingo condo owners, ourselves, and know how much work it takes to make a condo inviting and your guests feel welcome. Our unit was rented out at the time of our trip, so we reluctantly rented this unit, but were extremely happy with the attention and care from the Krain team.
  
  The condo is extremely well-decorated and waking up to that view of Brasilito beach was absolutely amazing. We would recommend that guests rent a small SUV, as the road up to Flamingo Towers can be a bit rough, but it's a very short drive, and - again- once you see the view, you'll understand why the drive was worth it.
  
  The two pools were quite nice and we enjoyed our last night watching the sunset from the infinity pool closest to the water - it was incredible.

  The house is amazing, better than in pictures. It's very clean and spacious. The beds are super comfortable and the bedrooms and living room have amazing views. The pool has also a great view and it was very nice. The kitchen is equipped with everything you may need (except rice cooker), pots, pans, containers, dish washer and even food disposal. The house is in a 3rd floor but there's an elevator a few steps from the parking lot. It's very close to the beach in Flamingo and other beaches like Conchal, Danta, Penca, etc.. I would definitely recommend this house for a relaxing vacation. Very important, you do need a car because you have to go up a hill.
