Casa Tres Cocos is the perfect destination for ocean lovers, families, and friends looking for
outstanding and memorable experiences. Located in the Playa Grande community - one of the
most popular surfing spots in Guanacaste - this spacious home has private beach access,
making it easy for families to enjoy playing in the ocean and for surfers/boogie boarders to
come and go with their boards. The home is direct beachfront on beautiful Playa Ventanas –
which is directly north of Playa Grande (walking access to Playa Grande). Enjoy long walks along
the beach to the sound of the waves or watch the sun sink directly into the Pacific every night.
Tres Cocos just went through an entire renovation and every detail has been taken into account
with no expense spared. The customized design and decorations throughout the house were
done by a local well-known interior designer. The customized furniture throughout the house is
inviting and luxurious. Tres Cocos gives you the feeling of being in paradise, with all the
amenities of a 5-star hotel, but in the privacy of your own home.
The renovated and fully equipped kitchen is the perfect place to enjoy meals and gather with
family and with plenty of seating around the sprawling dining room table. The main house
features 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. The casita has an additional bedroom and bathroom
that creates a private oasis, yet still steps from the main house.
The backyard is private with its own access to the beach. The pool is welcoming with plenty of
lounge seating to enjoy the sun or relax in one of the 2 hammocks under the palm trees. There
is a large sun-protected covered terrace with a sectional couch along with a table with seating
for 6. There is an outdoor shower and 1/2 bath so guests don’t have to go into the house while
enjoying the outdoors.
Tres Cocos is perfect for those looking for privacy and solitude. The house is surrounded by the
forest of the national park with only one neighboring house. The beach is gorgeous and not
very busy. Occasionally monkeys will be seen from the backyard as they travel through the
trees. There are great restaurants, surf shops, and basic necessities in the Playa Grande area.
Tamarindo is a quick 30 minute drive away with a lot more restaurants, shopping, and nightlife.
It is worth noting this home is located in the Marino las Baulas de Guanacaste National Park.  
This national park protects the main nesting beaches for the leatherback and green turtles of
the Tropical Eastern Pacific. Please note that from October 20 th to February 15 th people are not
allowed on the beach from sunset to sunrise so as to not disturb the turtles as they come in to
lay their eggs. It is a wonderful experience to get up early and see the turtle tracks on the beach
from the night before.
This home has 5 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. Bedroom distribution is as follows:

Bedroom 4: (located upstairs) King bed

  Our family loved everything about this house.
  The home is beautiful - the pictures don’t fully represent the beauty. 2 master’s with private bathrooms in the main house and a small casita by the pool could work for multiple couple or a large family like ours. One master in the main house is near two other bedrooms who share a bathroom - this was perfect for our kids. One separate master upstairs has an amazing balcony.
  The landscaping and gardens on the property are incredibly maintained.
  An automatic drive-in gate and locking gate to the beach provide the security anyone would appreciate.
  A short few steps from the back gate puts you on the quiet beach.
  With a 1/4 mile walk you are on Playa Grande to surf. You are also within a short drive to the quaint town of Playa Grande.

  Our family rented this home for a vacation that included 5 couples. This experience exceeded our expectations in every way. The location is breathtaking and the pictures truly don't do the home justice. We loved the outdoor areas, easy access to the beautiful beach and enjoyed quite a few naps in the back yard hammock under the palm trees listening to the ocean and the monkeys. The management staff was so attentive and responsive. Tony and Allen were amazing in helping us arrange our activities and making sure our every need was met. 10/10 recommend!

The pool was perfect, and the quick walk out to the beach from the back gate was amazing. The beach is perfect. And lastly, we cannot forget the amazing service from Tony. He arranged numerous activities for us during the trip. Sunset catamaran and the private chef were amazing and absolutely the highlights of our trip.   Casa Tres Cocos exceeded our expectations! The photos, while lovely, somehow don't do this place justice. The interior design is just perfection. Our group of four adults and two children had the most-wonderful time exploring up and down the coast and splashing around in the pool. The kids loved the swing chairs and reading in the window seat. The house had beach toys, chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards. There is no tub, so keep that in mind for very little children. We can’t wait to return!

  The property is wonderful and reminded me of a 5 star resort. The grounds and pool area were beautiful and well maintained. The house and casita were amazing and just as depicted in the rental site. The short walk to the beach was great and most of the time we had the beach to ourselves. We had the equipment we needed for the beach and plenty of towels.
  The house worked well for 9 people including a 10 & 7 year old and a nine month old baby. Having the pool and beach gave us options for outdoor activities.
  We felt safe there and all the people we met taking care of the property were so nice and helpful. I would highly recommend this property if you want a getaway that is private and away from busy touristy beaches.

  Casa Tres Cocos was one of the best vacation rentals we have ever stayed at. The home is newly and very tastefully remodeled. We loved that it is a little bit out of the way, and on the most beautiful beach imaginable. We were even treated to a tortuga emerging from the water and nesting one evening. The local restaurants we ate at were all wonderful, with very good quality food and excellent service. Highly recommended!!

  The house was in a remote location and the beach mostly private, if you want to be away from the crowds this is the perfect spot for you. We traveled with another family and the house was almost perfect for our 9 people. Tony our host is "kind of a big deal around there" and was super helpful in helping us plan our dinner reservations as well as any activities we wanted. He also greeted us at the house and helped us feel comfortable in a new environment. House needs a few things like better beach towels, better beach chairs and a larger coffee pot. Other than that I would highly recommend Casa Tres Cocos!!
