This is Casa Colibri, villa #412 located at Villaggio del Pacífico 2 gated community. The unit has been completely remodeled and designed with a fresh beach vibe that is bright and open, featuring 18-foot ceilings allowing light into this beautiful home.

This villa comfortably sleeps 4. It has 1 master bedroom w/ king size bed; 1 secondary bedroom w/ queen size bed; and 1 bathroom with double sinks.

The kitchen features a built-in oven, a four-burner induction cooktop, microwave, and refrigerator. The kitchen also has a pull-out cutting board to maximize the prep area of the kitchen. The bar area has additional countertop space and another bar sink, along with a wine fridge to complete this space.

The home has dining for 6 inside and another table outside for 4 persons. The spacious outdoor terrace has two ceiling fans and a large outdoor sectional couch. A brand-new BBQ is available. Around the corner you have a bodega that has a side-by-side washer and dryer. Linens, bath, and beach towels are provided.

Casa Colibri is situated nearby to the pool. You can enjoy the comforts of your own home/terrace yet hop in and out of the pool, making it convenient to watch the kids in the pool from the terrace. This home enjoys the conveniences of a gated community offering security, parking, well-groomed mature landscaped grounds, and a large community pool and pool bath.

Located within a 10-minute walk to two fabulous beaches (Playa Potrero & Playa La Penca). Playa Potrero is renowned for its calm, family-friendly waves, and exquisite sunsets. Playa Potrero is located next to the $50M new Flamingo Marina. Other close by beaches include Playa Prieta, Playa Flamingo, and Playa Pan de Azúcar--all within a five-minute drive.

  We've stayed twice in the Casa Colibri and it continues to be a wonderful experience. We like the surrounding gardens and vegetation. It is very relaxing. The pool is ideal for after the beach dip and for our 4 year old to learn how to swim.

  We loved our stay. The casita was perfect for us. I travelled with a friend so the two bedroom casita is perfect for us. We enjoyed walking to the beaches, mercados and the bakery for the odd cappucino. The casita was super clean although we did opt to re-wash the floors (the water was black). Everything else was spotless. Handles on bathroom doors need some attention. Everything else was in good working order. Thanks for the new cook wear! We really appreciate having what we need to prepare our own meals. Thumbs up:) Communication with Krain was a bit challenging and this year our check in was a little bumpy but worked out in the end. Apparently we were not on the list to be checking in that day. I had a print out of our reservation so eventually we were able to get the keys and start our vacation in Potrero. Some of our favourite places are the fresh fruit/veggie market (new this year) down by Potrero beach, the gelato shop, The Shack for open mic night, The Pizza place across from the gelato shop. We also did a day tour to Nicaragua.We just had a few little glitches in reaching someone at Krain, seems phone goes to voicemail every time.Tony at Krain is wonderful to deal with. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back again. Pura Vida

  Nos quedamos la ultima semana del 2023 y la casa cumplio nuestras espectativas, en limpieza orden y comodidad, y el poder tener al frente la piscina constituyo un valor adicional muy valioso para nuestra familia. Quizas podrian mejorar un poco las areas comunes, pero la casa es muy practica y accesible para playas muy hermosas de la zona.

  This was our second stay in 2 years in this well equipped little casa. Nicely decorated, furnished and right by a great pool! Walk to town with a local flavor and good beaches. Villagio 3 is a couple hundred yards away and has interesting shops and foods. After a couple of weeks in neighboring Playa Flamingo we will look forward to yet another time in our home away from home in Maine USA.

  We had stayed in another property in the same complex last year. We returned because we liked it so much. This time the house was even better than the one rented last year. We felt very comfortable and relaxed in this beautiful house. It was very well equiped, tastefully decorated, and the beds, pillows and linen were exceptional.

  Great little Casita in a wonderful gated community. The grounds are lovely and lovingly tended to. Everyone we met there were really friendly. Tony at the Krain office was kind and helpful. Martin our driver from Liberia was great. He arrived when stated and got us to and from the airport with ease. The Casita is well equipped but does need new cookware. The cook ware was non stick finish that was all scraped off and the only cookie sheet was in rough shape.There is not much in the way of serving dishes.We cooked all of our meals in so the upgrade in these kitchen items would be helpful for folks like us.The Casita was generally well kept but the floors needed a good wash.We emptied a garbage can and used it with the mop to clean the floors. Towels and bedding were fantastic. The furthest we ventured was for a sunset dinner at Coco Loco in Playa Flamingo. We walked there. It was 1.5 hour walk along the beach which was wonderful. However; we found out there are no taxis to get home. Likely a good idea to have a car or a golf cart if you plan on going anywhere at night or any distance during the day.Best to rent before you go. The car rentals were sparse. We were able to find one for 3 days $500 USD no A/C. We opted to do with out. We walked to Cafe Diem, the pizza place next to the cafe as well as the gelato place. All were terrific and a do-able walk about 1.5 km.We saw some howler monkeys along our walks to those locations as well as beautiful flora and fauna. We were able to get most of what we needed at the local Mercado. We learned though it might be a good idea to shop in Liberia next time for better selection and availability of items We truly felt we did well with what was available this time around. We ate alot of fresh fruit and veggies from the local fruit market as well as the Thursday market. MY friend got some great sea bass from the fish market just down the street. If you love to walk you can find all that you need in walking distance.Great stay!
