Each of Casa Gran Vista’s 5 bedrooms has its own private, en-suite bath, and full views of the Pacific Ocean. There are dueling principle bedrooms, each featuring tremendous views, and one of which has an en-suite bathroom with a four-person sauna. The fifth bedroom is set up as a stand-alone, one-bedroom apartment, complete with a full kitchen, for optimal privacy and convenience.

Both the indoor living and dining areas each comfortably seat 10 people. The chef’s kitchen is unparalled, with a 48-inch beverage and wine refrigerator, large double islands offering abundant countertop space, dual ovens, and dual dishwashers.

But Casa Gran Vista’s most impressive feature lies in its outdoor entertaining. From nearly every room in the home, one can walk out--through sliding glass doors--to the beautiful infinity edge, salt water pool and the various outdoor spaces that surround it. These spaces include a large lounge area, an outdoor full kitchen with a swim up bar, and a sun deck. This outdoor area has abundant seating for all who want to soak in the most impressive views that Costa Rica has to offer. From this magnificent home, you can see the Papagayo Peninsula (home of the Four Seasons Hotel), the famous surf spot of Witches’ Rock, and even, in the distance, the country of Nicaragua.

Finally, the home has its own private gym, a full-time maid that will make daily cleanings during your stay as exception sunday, and a concierge team that can, upon request, order in-home chef services, in-home massage services, daily tours and excursions, etc.

Using this home as a base, you can drive 30 minutes to forest preserves, volcanoes, the Santa Rosa National Park, wildlife refuges, zip-lining and countless water activities. Your guests can enjoy taking morning walks on the beach, kayaking, snorkeling, scuba diving, sailing, and deep sea fishing. And then, at night, come home to share their experiences with you.

Casa Gran Vista is located in a gated community, is a short drive to restaurants, a movie theater, and a miniature golf course.   We had a fabulous stay. We traveled with multiple couples for a birthday celebration. The view is stunning and the house is well equipped. Anything we needed was taken care of promptly. We were referred to an awesome boat captain who allowed us to have a wonderful day on the water. I recommend renting a SUV. This made the trip easy to explore the country.

  Fabulous house and host. House is even more beautiful than pictures!! Perfect layout of rooms and space. Krain concierge was wonderful to work with and made planning adventures, restaurants etc sooo easy. Very responsive to any questions and breakfast everyday was WONDERFUL!! Views are breathtaking. Close to beaches and restaurants and grocery. The hill to get to house is steep but worth the drive. Would stay here again. Loved our time there

  This villa is absolutely AMAZING and the views are spectacular! The pictures do not do it justice! The home was clean, safe and comfortable. Our "housemom" was warm and welcoming and made us a delicious breakfast every morning and kept the villa in order. She even made me pancakes on my birthday which were the best I ever had. We enjoyed every amenity the villa offered and I can't wait to stay here again!

  The house is REALLY high on the mountain - so the view was amazing. The roads are incredibly steep to get there and a little hard to find for guests. The rooms were great...maid service was outstanding. The gym was old and the treadmill didn’t work. Air conditioners needed tune ups - they were super responsive on that. The pool toys were old - need to be replaced. Girl worked great. There was a rat in the kitchen one night. We laughed when it ran across the floor but it wasn’t good. There was also a raccoon in the back one night that scared the beats out of all of us - also very funny.
