  We were originally booked at a spot across the bay from this spot and for some reason it was cancelled so Karin switched us to this spot! We were so happy they did! Pacific Beach Condo B9 is simply delightful! The view is amazing! The pool is at the bottom of the stairs! The pool is never busy and partially in the shade all day long! The beach is right in front and so much fun to swim at! The beach is mostly private condos or private residences so it is very quiet! The only issue we had was the dry black sand was too hot to walk on during the day and had to wear flip flops to get to wet sand or water! Such a terrible thing to deal with! NOT!!!! lol loved our stay at Pacific Beach Condos!

  Our family of 4 (2 elementary-aged kids) enjoyed this condo for a week in December. The location was amazing - direct access to Playa Portero (the photos are true!) and within walking distance of the town of Portero. The condo itself was well-appointed, comfortable, and roomy. We enjoyed using the BBQ on the balcony and the kids found plenty of pool and beach toys for them to use.There were board games and DVDs for when we needed a break from the sun. There was a problem with the water heater that was fixed in record time and with extreme professionalism. I highly recommend this property and hope we can return some day.

  We really enjoyed our stay in Gaily's dream. Being right at the beach and with such a wonderful view from our window was amazing. The kids loved the buggie boards that was available in the apartment. We also enjoyed the patio and the fact that we could view the pool and the kids from the patio as well. So the location is great. A fruit stand and grocery store is close by.
  The apartment itself is nicely decorated and perfect for a family of 4. We ate many of our meals at home, often outside on the patio.

  My daughter and I spent 5 nights at the condo. It was clean and well furnished. The bed was comfortable and best of all the view was spectacular. Beach towels, chairs and an umbrella were supplied. The pool is right outside the condo and we mostly had it to ourselves. It was an easy 10 minute walk to the little market and many restaurants.

  The condo was perfect for my family. We were right on the beach and walking distance from a variety of restaurants. Check in and out were quick and simple and the Krain staff were helpful and friendly. There were beach toys and body boards in the condo, which we used extensively and the pool was great for times the kids wanted something other than the ocean.   This was an amazing vacation, and it was made all the more memorable by the fantastic accommodations! The rental property was maintained beautifully and provided lots of helpful "extras" like dvd's, boogie boards, beach towels, etc. The rental company was also very helpful in providing transports when necessary. The location could not be better--walking distance to restaurants, steps from the beach, pool outside your door--perfect. Our excursions picked us up at our property, so a rental car was not necessary.   This rental was amazing! It was very spacious and decorated nicely. It was nice to have some small things provided, like toilet paper and paper towels. The Krain staff was very helpful with transportation and any issues that arose. The only part that I felt was difficult was obtaining food. Since we did not rent a car it was hard to know where to go or what restaurants were recommended. Otherwise, the pool, beach and view were beautiful!!

Great location right on Playa Potrero with many restaurants and bars within walking distance. 10 minute golf cart ride to Playa Flamingo, maybe 25 minutes to Brasilito and Conchal. BBQ didn't work, but that was the only issue we experienced. Both Gaily herself and Krain were very responsive, helpful and accommodating. Highly recommended.

  This was our first trip to Costa Rica. We stayed in Gaily's Dream (Unit #9) for the last two weeks in January 2017. We had a marvelous time! The condo and Pacific Beach Condos in general were clean, in very good condition, well cared for, and the beach location is stunning. We ran into a number of repeat visitors of Pacific Beach and its easy to see why. The photos and description of the unit and area are accurate - what you see is what you get. Dealing with management was easy and simple. Its easy to recommend these units and we will probably be repeat customers at some point.
  The unit is on Playa Potrero, picturesque, peaceful, and fairly convenient. We were not interested in nightlife, bars, etc. and found it to be delightfully subdued. You can walk to 8-10 restaurants, some right on the beach. We tried a different one every night and almost all were good and reasonably priced. There is a small grocery store within a quarter mile. Tamarindo is the closest fair-sized town, about 40 minutes away, with good shopping. If you fly into Liberia and have time, shopping in Liberia before heading to the condo might be a good idea.
  We rented a car and drove most of the local roads with no problem. Pay attention to local driving customs (folks stop on the highway, etc.), but as long as you pay attention, you'll be fine. Learn about rental car in-country insurance-you need to be covered. There are alternative means of transport if you are not comfortable driving.
  We tried to see this part of the country. Krain is very helpful and accommodating in arranging tours, sight-seeing, snorkeling trips, etc.
  All-in-all, a very memorable and pleasant trip!

  Everything about this place was amazing! The location is fantastic, with a very cool beach to swim and walk on, with incredible views, sunsets and plants. The short drive to some of the amazing beaches around, such as Flamingo, Sugar Beach, and places to eat such as The Shack, Coco Loco was a real treat to us, all recommended to us by locals and expats. The local population mixed with residents from other countries really added to a great and very friendly experiences. We would highly recommend this condo as a place to stay. The place is clean with a nice pool to use at anytime. It was really beautifully furnished, and the images are 100% true to the actual setup. It really felt like home away from home for us and our kids. The agents at Krain were amazing, Maria, who helped us was very informative and friendly.   We feel so fortunate to have found this spot! If we could give this place more than 5 stars, we would! I can't decide which was more beautiful--the condo or the view! The condo's perfect location to the beach and pool were absolutely ideal--I could easily keep an eye on my children in either spot from the condo without having to go out. I can't say enough how nice it was to sit inside in the cool air-conditioning and admire the view from the large windows--just spectacular. We really appreciated the attention to all the tiny details that made our stay so comfortable--everything from the decor, well-stocked kitchen, barbecue on the balcony, luxury linens, to the videos, and games, and books, etc--everything was thought of. We traveled with our 3 children, so it was a bonus to also find life jackets, boogie boards, and sand pail kits for them to play with. (By the way, we needed to use the inflatable queen mattress--it sets up in seconds and was very comfortable.) The grounds were well kept, and the management was friendly and available to help us. The water pressure was very very low in the kitchen (making cooking and cleaning more time-consuming, but oddly enough it didn't affect showering in the bathrooms, thank goodness.) That in no way was a deal-breaker for us as everything else was absolutely perfect. We loved it! Truly this is vacationing at its best!

  The property is like brand new, everything is very high quality, linens, appliances, and décor. The shared pool is an invitation to meet very friendly people who can answer questions and share advise. If you want to enjoy the beach and activities without the "throb" of Tamarindo, this is the place to stay. Although this coast is not known for snorkeling, you can still hit a few beaches and see a few interesting fish. A variety of nice places for dining are very close. All in all, a wonderful place to call home for a few days in a very nice area. Highly recommended!!
